Kathleen Dolan becomes a partner in the Gazette in Rawlings, Oklahoma. She gets hijacked while coming to the town but is saved by a rancher Johnny Henry. She soon learns that there is a Doctor Herman who seems to be behind all the threats to her because he doesn't want her to know the town secrets. Johnny starts falling in love with Kathleen and vice versa too :) There's a murder case to be solved along with many pregnant women from out of state delivering in the town. But it was a good read for a rainy evening :)

Hey nice review.. Havent read any books written by Garlock.. Should start with this one probably :)
@Mridula - Yeah it was.. took some time to realise what was happening in the books.
@Avada Kedavra - Yeah do start. Her story writing skills are quite nice. I like it!
